Video and gaming on Nokia's widescreen mobile phone

Nokia's latest addition to the popular Nseries range, the Nokia N97, promises widescreen entertainment thanks to a 3.5 inch full touchscreen interface. The N97 features 32GB of internal memory, expandable up to 48GB thanks to a memory card slot supporting the MicroSD card format. The outstanding memory of the N97 is complimented by excellent music capabilities, full support for the Nokia Music store and continuous music playback of up to 1.5 days.

The N97 also offers full support for BBC iPlayer and YouTube allowing for streaming videos via the N97's HSDPA or Wi-Fi connectivity. Videos can be viewed on the 16:9 display or utilising the N97's TV output feature.

Nokia have confirmed that the N97 will include a powerful 5.0 Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, LED flash, DVD quality video capture and support for services like share on Ovi for immediate sharing.

The built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS support also promises the ability to Geo-tag photos to the exact location the photo was taken.

Full support for the Ovi store allows users to download applications as well as games on the N-gage gaming platform. A built in accelerometer and 16:9 widescreen display provide the perfect platform for N-gage games with full support for online multiplayer gaming. Nokia also promise a range of motion based games taking full advantage of the built in accelerometer and touch sensitive display.

All the features of N97 are very good but I only doubt how users are going to play games on it? Its becomes uncomfortable to play games on touch-Screen phones! But let us wait to see does Nokia bring something more than our expectation.
